Our specialist Investor Visa Team.
Malcolm Pacific Immigration is the market leader of the Investor Visa programme. We successfully navigate clients through the programme's complexity so they become Permanent Residents of New Zealand.
Malcolm Pacific's Chairman while part of the NZ government in the early 1980s led the charge for New Zealand’s first Investor category. Since then we have helped thousands of investors and their families secure Permanent Residence. Those investors have invested over NZD $15 billion in New Zealand.
There are some in the immigration advice industry (advisers and lawyers) who make astonishing claims of how good they are. Our view is results speak much louder than words: no one comes close to our approval record for Investor Visa residence applications.
When you choose to make your life in New Zealand we care deeply that you and your family trust us to make your visa applications successful. We invest time at the outset getting to know you, your family, your goals, and making sure we give you the best advice including whether you will qualify. We stand by what we say. Care is at our core.

You will not be alone.
Our clients have diverse backgrounds. However, they all share a deep connection with New Zealand and are passionate about making a contribution. Some choose to be passive investors, while others are actively managing investments in areas such as new technology, conservation projects, viticulture, tourism, commercial and residential property development, including taking on board and executive roles, creating and saving jobs for kiwis and so much more.

Craig Elliott
– from Silicon Valley to a love affair with NZ
Craig’s career in the Silicon Valley began in 1985, after he was named the top salesman for Apple Computer just out of college. Instead of a bonus, Craig won a brand new Porsche from Steve Jobs and was later offered a job at Apple headquarters.
Following his tenure at Apple, Craig joined the founders of Packeteer, an innovative networking startup, to become employee number three and the company’s first CEO. Craig led Packeteer through an IPO and a two billion dollar valuation in 1999. Next, he founded Pertino another networking company, where he also served as CEO.
Since his honeymoon in NZ in 1995 Craig has loved New Zealand and working with New Zealand companies. He built a programme for Computer Science students from New Zealand to participate in internships at high tech companies in Silicon Valley and founded the Kiwi Landing zone in San Francisco. He has also been a board member for Xero, Magic Memories, Enable Networks and ezyVet.
Kea acknowledged the substantial impact that he has had on New Zealand’s standing in America’s tech world, announcing him as the “Friend of New Zealand” in their World Class New Zealand awards.
Craig grew up in a small town in Iowa, and started his career on the farm and really understands what “number eight wire” means in New Zealand.

Edmund Mah
– from Singapore to Auckland based CFO
Edmund is originally from Penang, Malaysia but spent most of his career in Singapore where he held senior management/financial roles. He studied in Australia to secure a degree in Economics before completing an MBA in the UK. Edmund was experienced in living life aboard.
After attending a New Zealand Investor focused seminar in Singapore, he discussed migration with Malcolm Pacific Immigration. The rest is history. Edmund was approved under the Investor Visa programme and moved his family to Auckland.
Today Edmund is part of the senior team leading Evolve Education one of Australasia's largest and leading early childhood education providers. Edmund and his family have settled quickly into the New Zealand lifestyle and our country is benefiting from his senior management expertise.

Ron Patrick
– celebrating Thanksgiving kiwi style
Ron hails from New Jersey and ran his own plumbing, heating, and air conditioning business. He later joined the family business Alacer Corp who created “Emergen-C”. This is one of the world’s largest and most recognised brands of vitamins. With Ron putting his shoulder to the wheel at Alacer the company experienced significant growth until the family sold out in 2012.
Ron then looked for his next adventure and through a kiwi connection landed in New Zealand with his family. Ron successfully passed through the Investor migrant programme and today is a NZ citizen (read official kiwi). Ron keeps himself busy with commercial/residential property investments and developments.
When Ron is not out enjoying the waters of the Hauraki Gulf you will find him looking for his next investment project. As Ron says “I cannot express the gratitude I have from the friendships and close friends I have developed in the past eight years. I have more people in my life today than I ever had. I can’t wait for another Thanksgiving”.

Dr Hans Albrecht
– from Munich to supporting New Zealand’s sustainability and start-ups
Hans is a man of many talents. A Fulbright scholar with a Ph. D in medicine and a law degree from Harvard University plus admission to the New York bar. Hans has an impressive career in finance. Formerly managing partner at one of Germany’s leading private equity firms IMM, then establishing Carlyle Europe, the first non-US fund of The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm. Today Hans is the founding partner and MD of Nordwind Capital.
In his spare time, Hans has funded movie productions, charities including building schools in Myanmar, sponsoring medical students and teachers into schools. He keeps himself busy supporting NGOs and start-ups.
Hans and his wife Ursula sailed into New Zealand and were captured by the beauty of our country. The couple flew through the Investor Visa programme to secure residence. A variety of local investments are supporting New Zealand’s environment through green investments, recycling initiatives, start-ups, and seed investment into a “deep science incubator” with Icehouse. New Zealand is benefiting from the Albrecht’s smart capital and people talent.
The Malcolm Pacific Immigration epic difference.
We do not attempt to be a “one-stop-shop” offering Investors “complete packages” for their investment journey. In our view, this is quite dangerous. We believe clients are best protected when we stick to what we are very good at and surround ourselves with strong friends who have excellent reputations in their specialist fields. Malcolm Pacific Immigration has strong relationships with major New Zealand banks, investment advisers, tax experts, accountants, property agents, lawyers, specialists in the purchase of sensitive land…….the list goes on (even experts to help get your pets into New Zealand!).
We listen to your needs and make introductions to likeminded experts. We do not take commissions for referrals to our network of kiwi professionals.
